Title: Buried Treasure
Post by: gnukidontheblock on November 17, 2011, 10:00:15 PM
Howdy Group,

About 6 years ago I inherited a collection of 100 antique and vintage wrenches, sockets, ratchets and auto accessories which I boxed up and tossed under a workbench in my garage. I recently discovered that box while performing a long overdue cleanup of the garage and will begin rolling them out for sale in the near future.

Thanks to Alloy Artifacts, I was able to track down the history of most items in the collection but there are a four open end wrenches (see photos below) I could really use some help on regarding their age, manufacturer, and most importantly, a FAIR selling price for each. Specifics on each (from bottom to top of the first photo) follow:

1. WSMCOE 3/4" single open structural wrench; 10" long, no other visible markings

2. WSMCOE 11/16" single open structural wrench; 8 3/4" long, no other visible markings.

3. S-Shaped 1/2" x 5/8" open end; 9 1/4" long, Drop Forged on front face, 1/2 and 9/16 on reverse.

4. S-Shaped (possibly W&B??) 11/16" x 7/8" open end; 12" long, no other visible markings.

Thanks in advance,

Gnu Kid on the Block.
