Hello, It has been a while since I've seen a decent Stanley plane for sale, rumor has it that there is a guy in North Syracuse with a huge stash of Stanleys (heh, heh). The 2 in back have Bailey in raised lettering, a guy at work found these 2 for me. My neighbor brought over the CTD number drill index, good shape!! The one at bottom left I picked up today, good shape, but the logo caught my eye. Consolidated Tool Works Inc. (around the outside of the helm) and Pilot USA (inside the helm). Never seen one before, I will need to do a little digging. Same logo on the iron. Regards, Lou

Hello, Yadda. Thanks!!! I have been digging around a little bit, possibly a New York (city) Company, but made by others. Regards, Lou

No marking/s on the base of plane?
Is the plane No. 4 size? 9 1/2" long?
Never seen or heard of that being one of the
makes that Stanley did for other companies.

Hello, Jimmy. Thanks!!! Mike, there are no markings on the base. Same size as a Stanley No. 4 , 9" long, with a 2" cutter. Slightly taller sides, and it has a folded lateral. I'm thinking maybe a Sargent, or, Ohio. I will see if I can find those 2 for comparison. Regards, Lou
