I found these photos on ebay, I do not own the tool, just trying to figure out what it is. I have looked at every patent for March 21, 1922 and did not see this tool. Anyone recognize it?
Is the thread imperial, metric or whatever. That may tell you if it was maybe made offshore. I don't know if there is a way to search offshore patents. I also have no idea as to what that is. Jim

Could the four of them be fixed--pointed end up--inside a wooden framework--to hold a cloth sack while it was being filled?

Probably for a cast iron steam radiator like used in buildings.
