Oh I like the part about Emergency flashing. That broke me up.
-
I'm surprised Sears isn't selling them they usually find all the gimmick tools.
-
I think its a great idea, I have been stuck at night sometimes trying still to fumble with bolts on a car.
-
Sears is selling jumper cables with lights in the clamps.

Sears is selling jumper cables with lights in the clamps.
That makes sense.
-
But fflintstone do they have Emergency flashing capability.
-
Depends how much your hands shake while you are attaching them ;P
Really tho, if you are using jumper cables,
it's because your battery is dead,
is lighting up a couple more light bulbs
*really* a good idea?

I could have used something like them last week while changing the spark plugs on the wife's car.
a V-6 setting cross wise in the car.
I used a trouble light and a mirror.
Step #1 buy a 6 pack
Step #2 set 2 aside as a reward when finished.
Step #3 dismantle the #$%^&* car.

Yeah, my car is like that. You spend 15 minutes trying to play contortionist, slipping your arm down the back side behind the engine, across the firewall, up under the intake, you finally reach the plug , and drop the ratchet, which falls to the floor. Now you can't reach the floor to pick it up, so you undo the whole contortionist thing go get unstuck......
But, I suppose it's better than the Ford vans, where the plug is under a coil pack which is under a fuel rail which is under a wireloom which is under the air box which is under the dashboard.....
It's funny tho, the plugs don't seem to have any trouble finding their way out when the threads strip out....

Too true.
