Here are a few smalls from the flea, the Wilton Vise is still in the truck!! At top is a clean Vise-Grip 10-WR, next is a 3/8 Craftsman Ratchet with the Flying V shifter, next is a Yankee Tack Puller, next is a clean Stanley Awl. Next is a Hyde Mill Knife, needs a little TLC. At bottom is an unmarked tool that I believe is a Crimper? Will try to post pics later of the Wilton!!
And I thought I had a truly fine tack puller when I found a wood-handled C.S. Osborne puller - that Yankee is great!
Hello, Bill. Thanks!! If you look closely you will see an unfortunate chip in the handle near the end, will not affect use!!. I will post a pic of the lettering inside the handle!!
All this AND a Wilton vise? Really nice finds!
Thanks!! I walked right by the vise the first time around, a buddy of mine sent me over to the vendor!!!!
Nice buddy, helping you spend your money.
isnt the tool on the bottom for twisting wire...maybe the phone co used them...maybe two tools used at once?
Hello, international3414. Could be!! I was thinking telecom, but I forgot to put that in. That is why I put a question mark in the first post, I am not sure what it is!! I will post another photo!!
Maybe for crimping those ferrules used on wire cable?

Possibly, but you would need the grip strength of The Hulk!!
Are there any hammer marks?
Al
No hammer marks. Looks like one leg is tapered, so sliding the ring toward the hinge end would tighten the handles. international3414, you have me thinking about a much lager wire twisting tool made by Crescent. I will see if I can find a catalog, and post a pic. Also a link to a crimper/splicer on ebay.
