Title: Bob Wickes wrenchmensch
Post by: leg17 on February 06, 2021, 05:34:54 PM
The late Bob Wickes, 1939-2016, wrenchmensch here at papaws, was featured on a History Channel Modern Marvels segment.

Does anyone know what particular show that was?

Does anyone know how to view it?

Thanks

I emailed Bob's wife and she responded with the following.

Yes, Bob was featured on an episode of "Modern Marvels." It was aired on 12/06/05, and the episode was called "Tools."  Bob was interviewed at length, and he discussed a number of his wrenches and their historic significance.

Now to try and find the episode.

At least we have a starting point.

I think it might be Season 12 Episode 63, but I don't know how to view it without some type of online service.

Keep us posted if you find anything else out. His wife has a copy but I'm about 2 hours away and I'm not sure what format the copies are in to getting additional copies made.

Thanks Lewill.
I don't need a copy.
Just wanted to reference Bob for another forum.
But thanks a lot.
