I have a small wrench. It is marked "PAT APP'L FOR" on one side and "STONE & MURPHY / INC. / MIDDLETOWN,CONN." on the other. It is almost 5 inches long closed and 5 ½ fully opened. It has three opening widths, ¼ 3/8 and 1/2 inch.
I am doing an article for the Gristmill the magazine of the Mid-West Tool Collectors Association. Does any one have one and is it a different size or different markings? You can view the info I have on this at

Thanks,
Dick

Apologies, I did not open the link before sending the patent info from DATAMP, which I had only come across a few nights previous.
Cheers Danks.
You can try Dan Gaier he is president of the MVWC and he will be in Gettysburg, Pa this weekend at the Midwest meeting.
Thanks for the info. I sent him an email on this.
