Some tools I've made.... With a Swiss Army knife 91mm

Maybe not for this section of the Forum but they are steel & wood with wedged handles. This is as far as I got, at some point I'd like to make some more & a wooden toolbox for them.......

What wood do you use for the handles, to get grain in scale to the tools?

It's Hickory, nothing special just a bit of black tint & sanded.
