A few from a recent pick!!
That's an interesting gasket cutter in the first photo (bottom right).
And Upson Nut is a new brand to me.
Thanks, Bill. The gasket cutter really caught my eye. I am just learning about the Upson Nut Co. tools. I used to pick up a lot of wood folding rules that were marked Upson Nut, but were identical to the Stanley rules, including the number. I'm guessing at one point Stanley bought them out.
What make is the gasket cutter? Any markings? And whatis the tool to the left of it?
Al
Hello, A. The gasket cutter is marked BLANCHARD A PARIS. The wood handle tool on the top left is a Pad Saw. The other small tool with the wood handle and 3 blades is a Race Knife.
Race knife? As in ball beaing race?
Hello, Al. I am not sure why it is called a Race Knife, aka. as a Timber Scribe. Sort of a gouge/knife/scribing tool.
What was a race knife used for?
Race knife - Wikipedia
Race knife also known as a timber scribe (scorer, tree marker) is a knife with a U-shaped end sometimes called a scoop knife for cutting marks in wood by lumbermen, carpenters, coopers, surveyors, and others.
Very interesting finds, thanks for posting and the information. The square-ish think looks to be a blacksmith anvil hardy tool, maybe a swedge tool? any depression in the head? or just flat? In with woodworking tools, now I'm thinking that it may in fact be a mini anvil. Drive the pointed end into wood and have a flat steel surface to hammer on (something ?)

Hello, JoeCB. Pretty sure it is an Anvil Hardy, as you said!
