Title: Help
Post by: bird on December 14, 2023, 09:07:13 PM
Hi guys, I’ve got this wrench I’m giving to my brother for Christmas.. no makers marks. 24 inches long with 2 3/4 inch sides to the square socket. Can anyone help me with age of wrench, what it might have been used for, ect? I’d really appreciate any help asap!!!!
Cheers and god bless!

My guess would be to tighten wagon wheel nuts, like on horse drawn wagon.

The Large Square Nut Size reminds me of a Large "Gate valve Stem Wrench". The kind used by the water company, and usually found in/under the street. Usually found with a "T" Handle, but not always.
