I have the opportunity to pick up this set, any idea what an approximate value would be ?

You should be able see to look up comps on ebay. Best SWAG is between $30 and $60. Ultimately it is what someone is willing to pay you.

Of course Ebay was the first place I looked - nada, nuthin, zippo !
Neither in "for sale" or "sold for"

Walden made similar wrenches and sockets. Also check pressed steel sockets.
