Title: Garage Gazette seems to be down.
Post by: bonneyman on June 17, 2024, 07:57:01 PM: There was some talk a few months ago of a possible problem with GG and hosting. I thought it was said that the issue would hit the end of the year, perhaps as early as August. So this is two months early. Hoping it's a down time so they can fix whatever the problem is. Anybody have anything further?

From where I'm sitting, although I know nothing about how to do it, I'd like to see as many of the "orphans" gathered up and we move forward on another platform or maybe, if it didn't piss anyone off, we all contribute here?

Good things are the site gets a new fresh face and a reboot( much needed in my mind) , also many people with the site keys and a new server so this should not happen again.

Bad thing yeah everything is gone .
If you have contact with other members keep them in the know so we can hit the road running.
Once it`s up i`ll be PMing all the members i know on other sites and via email .

Originally it was going to be Garage Hangout (garagegazette could not be used) but the name could not be registered for reasons unknown to me. The name will be Garage-Junkies.net Please note it is .net and not .com.

The old data could not be recovered so it's a fresh start.

More as developments develop.
