This is a 3-inch Palmgren cross slide vise. I wanted a cross slide vise for a while, but I couldn't justify the price against the actual very low need. Then I bought this one in an online auction at a price I could justify.

It needs cleaning, but all the parts seem to be there and work as expected. I plan to mount it on a drill press for now.

And a Palmgren! Color me envy green. My cross-slide vise is from an unmentionable country.

My largest vise isn't native. It was cheap and functional for my needs.
