Title: Herma tools
Post by: RedVise on December 08, 2011, 09:19:39 PM
Any info on this brand, HERMA ?  Made in West Germany, I bought a 1/2" drive socket set, no ratchet.
I see some wrenches on the uknowwhat bay, but cant find any other reference.
Too late for pics tonite but will post tomorow.

Thanks

Not much, they are mentioned in the 1950's in Autocar, selling 'spanner sets' , so they have been around a little while anyhow.

Here are the pics.
Interesting mix of sockets, metric and Imperial markings, I believe.

Possably made by Elora, based on a set that was on ebay a while back consisting of 6 ring spanners (offset box wrenches) that were all identical except one was marked herma instead of elora....

The snippit in Autocar says they were being imported by someone, so the name may have been just a made up import name....
