Here are several recent additions to my collections. I'm especially pleased with the 4" BAHCO. New and unused, came in a plastic bag. The 10" King Dick has major chrome loss on the head.
An unknown alligator I got from John Harper- Wvtools- http://stores.ebay.com/WVTools/WVTools-Website-and-Store.html (http://stores.ebay.com/WVTools/WVTools-Website-and-Store.html)
Two other King Dick wrenches- a #A704- 11/16 x 3/4 AF DOE , and a 11/16 AF Combo.

I dont especially care for the alligators, ( all that chewing bugs me ) but I sure do like that little wrench
-
Noel is there a possability that was fabricated, looks like it to me with the marks and the center section, either way nice wrench
-
Judging by the uniformity of the teeth and the cut of the half inch opening, I believe it to be a production piece rather than a one-off fabrication. I'm thinking it may have been a sample to be offered as an advertising item. There have been many alligator patterns used as ad pieces, usually with a company name or logo on the tool.

One thought was that it could have been for those nuts behind the knob on old radio equipment.
-
I think the Bahco 4-inch is neat. Wish I'd found it!
-
The knob nuts on old radios are on the outside so you can unscrew them ;P
For some reason I am thinking that that is a bicycle wrench, tho, I can't tell you why ...
Either way, it looks hungry....
-
That 4" BAHCO is sweet! Do you happen to know of what decade it came from?

According to Bruce's Bahco Collections - http://www.melbys.net/bahco/Gen_four.htm (http://www.melbys.net/bahco/Gen_four.htm)
Wrenches 0669 - 0675
These were produced from 1969 to 1983. Production of these began after the production of 70-series wrenches ended
1969 was the highlight of this wrench series
669-675 changed to 0669-0675.
The series 669-675, and Series 0669 - 0675 are identical.
Wrenches 969-975
These were produced from1954 to 1968.
These had a right hand threaded screw, but otherwise, was dentical to 669-675.

Wow great site, another one I hadn't found yet! Thank you for the link, Papaw. I have a collection Bahco adjustables that are users, some may have to be retired to the collectable section!

...only 5 miles from exit 112
Sure, but it is all uphill!

Thanks for the BAHCO link. Your 0669 looks better than theirs. It always makes me happy when one of my wrenches looks better than the example on the web.
-
Me too!
The wrench that got me started with old wrenches was a BAHCO adjustable with an alligator end. Found it in a Volvo I bought in 1969, used it for years before I knew what it was after finding the internet.

Same here...
Found a BAHCO 11 in the trunk of what is now my sons '69 Volvo. It's still in there, but it lead me to a search for one of my own that has gotten a little out of hand.

I need to get an updated picture, but you can probably already see that there is a problem.

Minus the pliers, I have most of those. Never saw any pliers.
-
you got that right and when he runs out of hill he has to go through the forest to grandmas house . bob w.
-
The pliers are from a Volvo tool kit and have Eskilstuna Sweden stamped on them.
A couple years ago I started on a quest to prove that the pliers were made by BAHCO or "Eric Anton Berg", a BAHCO subsidiary.
The next step in the quest is to learn Swedish because I've run into a dead end with the pliers and with a similar quest for NIC tool info.
