Title: CA-211 9/32" stubby driver
Post by: crankshaftdan II on February 18, 2012, 03:34:20 PM
Found this floating around in my Proto stash a couple days ago and tried to find out if it was from the proto/plvmb era since 9/32 was some time ago.  Anyone seen one like this or care to point me in the right direction?

How odd...

Plomb cataog 18A shows a 1/4 drive version (#4767), with Pyroxylin plastic handle. Catalog 15A shown 'new' Pyroxylin plastic handle screwdrivers.
The plastic is earlier than I would have thought....(1936)

Where that puts it in 9/32 drive I have no idea...

I'd really like to have a 1/4" one of those. That is cool.

Thanks Rusty- I think you are on the right track-I will check further-however I don't have any past plvmb/proto sources to draw from!  Thanks........cranky
