I just ran across this web site and thought some of you would like to look it over. The guys on the left coast might want to stop by and visit in person.

Those are cool! Quite a collection of miniature machine tools.

Neat collection! Can you, or anyone else, tie in harbormaster work with miniature machine shop tools? Was this probably a hobby, and the tools were never used? Alternatively, was the harbormaster fabricating weapons fuses, or some other specialty products?

Thanks for the link!
I love small tools. OK I love miniatures in general always did.
There used to be a collection in the small museum at Golden Gate Park in SF. Theirs were most all handmade and spectacular. I wonder if they are still on display?

What a joy to see! Thanks for the link!
And Scott, did you ever see the scale model of the African Queen in Golden Gate Park? About 6 feet long, and near 100% accurate. Even ran on a steam engine the guy made that duplicated the appearance as well as the function of the boat. Bet the fellow could have
used some of these tiny machines. On second thought, he probably did use some machines like these.
