Interesting to note selling scrap on ebay may just be more profitable than at scrap yard.  Check out the "other items".

I saw the same thing when I checked.

The closest scrap yard that I go always has a few goodies to the side. We got to talking one day and they set anything they think they can sell for more then scrap to the side. Later they put it on ebay.

If there are only 2 pieces of sterling in the silverware lot, its a good deal.
