I hope Noel does not mind these posts, they are not directly related to tools I know but this is the heading for this board........Feel free to talk about anything and everything in this board..........I would like to know if one of you computer wizzes can give me an exact date and any other pertinent information concerning the buyout of Northest Electric by Delco which I believe ( but am still unable to confirm ) happened sometime in September of 1929.
Please understand that I am not looking for an easy way out and if I knew how to find the answer than I would no matter the time that it might take on-line. Thanks for any help

Well lookee what I found, maybe Im not as dumb as I look........http://books.google.com/books?id=H2MfAQAAMAAJ&q=Northeast+Electric+buyout&dq=Northeast+Electric+buyout&hl=en...........can someone now tell me if I can read a little more. I would like to read what all else pertains to the buyout, prob. not much more.
Let me clarify, I would like to read it for free, I do not want to buy the book unless it is dirt cheap, thank-you
Let me also add that I did contact a local university that has the book and have requested that they scan and send me a copy of the full two pages.
I guess that the time between Oct 29 and May 1930 was a time of many changes. I would wonder up until what point the N.E. name was dropped from its products.
