Not to me either.
He's right about the 1952 date, but who knows what came in that box from the store. I doubt it was those tools!

A famous Canadian department store chain (now gone) that partnered with Sears, Roebuck to introduce Sears (under the Simpson-Sears brand) to Canada in 1952.

Even if I believed the set was original & complete, I wouldn't really be interested (just not really my thing) and the "Simpson-Sears" label appeared on stuff sold in the US too...
