Stanley 135A screw driver. Only has 1 bit, but I may have other bits somewhere.
Works perfectly, but I now use cordless, or small bosch impact drivers.
3/8" ratchet marked Popular Mechanics. Made in the USA.
Wonder who made it? Heavy, smooth, like new, and looks like a Snap-On.

Chuck, I have a sneaky suspicion that your ratchet is Stanley (i.e. Taiwanese) made.
I have a MASTERGRIP ratchet in 3/8" with the same curvey handle and embossed USA - but not American made.

I have a Great Neck ratchet that looks just like that but without the quick release. Good heavy hammer, I mean ratchet. Well worth the $5 I paid for it at the pawn shop.

I'm gonna ditto bonneyman with the thought that these are some of the infamous tools that got Stanley in trouble with the FTC back in the late 90's. I've got a 1/4" PM of the same design as the OP's, and while it's a decent little ratchet, my gut says it's not native born despite the USA stamp....
