It is marked "Forged Steel" on one side and "Made In U.S.A." on the other side The only other marking besides the sizes is a "B".
Appreciate your help,
Barb

Sorry, but I didn't see any "B" in the photos. Was the "B" stamped or embossed? Can you add a picture of the "B" perhaps?
-
The "B" is in the second picture, right beside the 9 in 9/16.
Probably made by Duro or Indestro.

I'm about 99% sure it's TruFit / Lectrolite.

Best match to the square ended recessed panel, combination of marks, and square bends at the box rings seems to be Vlchek..(See model X541 under Vlchek / economy tools ,on AA, 50's vintage contract....)
(Lectrolite always splits Made in/USA , like Plomb/Proto did, tho it's a good alternate guess, there is structural similarity....)

Attached picture of "B" and back of tool.

Oops! B picture did not attach!

Good points. You've convinced me...

Do you have any idea how old it might be? All that I saw in AA had an asterisk marking on them and this one does not.
