I picked up a virtually new Fairmount 1/4" drive nut driver handle at a junktique shop for 50 cents and wondered ....
1. Are they still in business?
2. If so, is their stuff still made in the US??
No indication as to whether it's US or of Asian descent on the handle or shaft.
Inquiring minds wanna know...
Thanks

Nope, they are gone. Some of their tool patterns were picked up by another company, but Fairmount hasn't been around for quite a few years....

It would appear so, unless some hardware store is using the name.
I don't have a catalog to see if it was in a 1/4 socket set,
in fact, I have never seen a Fairmount printed catalog :(
Sometimes you find the old stuff looking shiny and new, somewhere
I have a deep box wrench by fairmont that looks like it left the factory floor yesterday...
Apparently whoever owned it didn't have anything with 15/16 bolts...
