Anyone ever seen this set before? The driver is sturdy, marked Made in USA on handle. Has a 1/4" square drive tip. Set was made by G.M. Co. Mfg. INC.- L.I. City, N. Y. I think we have seen some tools on here before from this company.
Set is missing a couple of the original sockets, but there was an Indestro Super 8-point socket in 1/4" in there, so I'm cool with it!
I think the neatest part is the Screwdriver tipped sockets. **Note that they refer to the phillips bit as "3/16 Recess" on the case!!**

Never seen one before but looks handy. New enough to have a plastic case and old enough to be only $3.95 new.

I know this is an old post but I have information on this tool set.
Made by G.M.Co M'F'G.-L.I. City , N.Y.
It was made in 1962 and 1963. The retail price was $3.95
However you could order it through newspaper ads for $1.00
It's handy, but homeowner quality of the 60's. Meaning not Harbor Freight Chinese tool quality but not exactly Sap-On quality either.
Beware the Philips head adapter though because you will find out rather quickly that it won't take much torque. It will strip the bit.
