I have now moved a good majority of my working tools into the shop work space. The tools you'll see below, mostly Craftsman, I've purchased over the years as I've needed them.....some new, some from pawn shops, sales, etc. You need to appreciate I'm not a mechanic, never have been - I worked with a tie around my neck sitting in a chair of a very tall building....you dare not have dirty hands or nails. Point is, I'm not a professional so please don't beat me up for what I don't have.
The toolbox below to the right I purchased new in my early 20s. I believe it is a waterloo. I've tried to be nice to it and care for it properly. The only damage I found in moving it was from just that - from it moving all over the country time after time. The box to the left was a box that was my grandfathers. It was given to him by my aunt (who has since passed) after she graduated college and starting earning money. I did spend the better part of 12 hours getting the box to a working state. I opted NOT to tackle aesthetics at the moment.

Verry nice set for someone whos not a mechnic. I wouldnt mind having it.
For someone with a good mechanical bent but not fultime in wrench twisting you have a very good tool array. Looks like the bases are covered, and not a lot of frou-frou, save for that one lone dogbone on top. Little heavy on the ratchets, but a guy always needs 2 or 3 of them anyhow. In each size. A little more organization as time goes by, will make it handier, seeing you already got the drawers marked. Far as Craftsman tools go, I'd say you got some of the best they ever put their name on. Just my opinion, thanks for sharing.

I just looked at historical sales on ePrey. I had no idea they were selling in the 20-30 range. How strange! Had I not already committed to leaving this one to my son I would send it to you. The next one I see out and about for .25 is yours!
when I was able I had a working shop in my garage farm tractor repair/restore mostly.
I have used craftsman tools since I got out of the service in 1952 ( the two top boxes on the right are from then)the boxes are full and I have three more in back facing the other way. I would guess that my son will end up with them even tough he has no room for them. if not I have two grandsons and a great grandson. AT THIS POINT OF MY LIFE THEY ARE NOTHING BUT MEMORY ENHANCERS

Yeah, they've pulled that on eBay for years.
Notwithstanding their near-uselessness, I've always wanted a nice clean example but decided I'd not pay more than $10!

Not many! I've recently coughed up most I'd collected to a member here.
I'll keep my eye out for an old dogbone at a good price. I've seen 2 in 6 months - bought one of them.
Very Nice! I would say that is a set up the average non professional car/tool guy would love to have.
My original Cman socket set is now widely distributed to who knows where, I am happy to use a Husky 1/2" ratchet and Wards sockets.
My 3/8" ratchets are Penncrafts and assorted brands of sockets. I guess my point is you can have a comprehensive tool set with out a shiny tool box filled with fancy brands.
Again, very nice set up you have there.
