Went out hunting Saturday, and found a few things, this box being one of them.
Seller wanted $3 each, so I asked how much for the whole thing. $30 he says. I countered with $25 and bought it. A lot of this stuff will be kept, as I was after the long Vanadium Tool Co. wrenches to the far right of the picture.
There was some junk also, but all told there were 33 pieces in the box.
See if you guys can spy the good stuff that caught my eye in addition to the wrenches mentioned above.
I can list everything if you guys want me too. Some of it will be sold, so if something catches your eye, holler at me.

The larger ball pein looks like it might be a Maydole. Can you read a name on it? Sometimes the Maydole mark is rather light.

Branson: I'll have to clean it a little, as I couldn't readily make out any writing on it. Would be nice if it is a Maydole!

Hammers tend to accumulate around my house -- don't know just how that happens. Last summer I needed a ball pein and grabbed one at random out of the shed. I got to wondering about it and took some of the "golden patina of age" off the side and found Maydole lightly stamped there. It's a little elongated like yours appears to be. Hope you find a Maydole mark too.

LOL.... I know the feeling, Branson! Between the users in my shop, and the ones I accumulate to sell at blacksmith conferences, I bet I have over 75 in various spots around the place!!! Every time I get another, my wife just looks at me and shakes her head!!!
