Title: 19689 wrench
Post by: jimwrench on May 30, 2012, 02:36:14 PM
Went to auction Monday. Got these two wrenchs. Already had two of the P1189 IHC wrench.
Bought the 19689 because it was different. Its 1 1/16 open end and 5 inchs across jaws.
Has a mouse hole in one jaw which makes it unique. Anyone ever seen one or know what its for?

I don't have a clue what it's for, but the mouse hole looks more like a casting flaw than something functional.

I thought so also but casting flaws are not rare but a mouse hole ina wrench is.

Wrench-eating mice leave a mess.  I've never seen any, but the telltale signs, heavy rust and pitting, give clear indications that they've been there.
