Title: Unusual S-K 1/4" drive ratchet
Post by: mikeswrenches on June 13, 2012, 06:48:37 AM
I found this little guy at a garage sale in FL several years ago.  It has been in my toolbox ever since.  After looking at all the ratchets that have been posted here, I realized that I hadn't seen one of these.  Or else I missed it...a very real possibility.

I've heard them called by many names; thumbwheel, thumbdrive, spinner, ratchet.  I have Williams and Craftsman versions in 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 drive.  I do find them "handy".

I just bought one of these a few months ago from a hardware store that warranted a bunch of S-K tools for me.I think I paid  $ 38.00 for it. I think it was listed as a palm ratchet.

I think you're right.  Somewhere I believe I read that they are called that.  Thanks for 'jogging' my memory.
