Hello, my name is Jack, for the last 35 years I've been an industrial boiler service technician, still working (too many divorces). I was for a number of years, a factory service tech that went all over the world, repairing and starting boilers, for the last 12 years, I've worked mainly in the Northeastern US. I have a small machine shop in my garage, making parts for my employer, my friends who race and other projects. I'm looking forward to being a small part of your group.

I was very familiar with boilermakers back in the day- OH- you aren't talking about a knock-you-down alcoholic drink, are you?

Likely you haven't been here since before about April of 2011, when Tool Talk crashed.
You should register again and stick around.

Welcome to the site.  A real good bunch here.   Machine shop in the garage, now that sounds good, Bridgeport, lathe with ten foot bed, those are some tools.
