I've been seeing these for years in my grandmother's garage. They were my late grandfather's. I captured a couple of rough shots today simply to share. Disturbing "her stuff" at her age is a sensitive matter, so I didn't want to go moving things around, cleaning, etc., and upsetting her. That day will come....but for now a couple of shots.

And his Craftsman toolbox - unknown (to me) vintage

<rant alert>
OH! A steel dustpan! try to find a good,solid, decent dustpan these days!
They don't make them. They make whimpy bendin the middle, twisted warped useless plastic garbage and tell you it is a dustpan. Nope, it's junk. Dust goes under it. Dust goes over it. Dust sticks to it. Dust goes everywhere but *in* the silly thing. Why oh why can't we make something as flipping simple as a good dustpan anymore?
<end rant>
Nice saw BTW, good for salami :)

If it were ONLY dustpans where we had such issues.
