Title: Indestro Polygons plus
Post by: kxxr on July 30, 2012, 07:01:03 PM
Indestro sure made a lot of variations. The Polygons are pretty nice, well made and sturdy. These are the only two I've ever seen and I got them both at the same time. AA says they're from the 30s. I put these ratcheting wrenches in there while I was at it and that last one must have been in one of those screw together sets. Anyone else have any Polygons?

I pick up Indestro's when I see them but don't recall seeing any marked polygon

I always thought that a polygon was a deceased parrot.

I always thought that a polygon was a deceased parrot.

It's not dead; it's only sleeping!

Coool!!  I'll keep my eyes open.  I've got more partial Indestro auto kits than I'll ever collate and make whole!!

I have that exact same problem. In fact, I am thinking about getting out of the Indestro business alltogether. I love them, but there are just too many but somehow never enough to complete a group. And then you throw in the Duro and Duro/Indestro and it just keeps on going. Here are the variations I have handy.

There are more, lots of 'em. These are ones I already had photographed.

kxxr, Never seen a Polygon, are they round beam or like the Plomb heavy duty series?

Not polygons, but, if you ever need to replace the pawls in those ratcheting box wrenches, this is what they look like inside. These are Dunlap's, but I think the Duro's are similar:

They are round. I'll post a side view a little later.
