Title: Early 1/4" Craftsman Ratchet
Post by: Bus on August 07, 2012, 01:13:11 AM
Picked up this exposed gear Craftsman 1/4" ratchet with New Britain/Husky "H" in a circle mark at a local flea market Sunday. It doesn't seem to be on AA. Anybody have any info?

That is the same ratchet as in my fathers 1/4 in. set.   His brothers bought a large Craftsman set for him when he returned to the farm in 1947.   He worked the war years in a defense plant in Chicago,  but decided to get back to the country.
