Title: Did some one say German, wrenches ?
Post by: Mel Larsen on August 10, 2012, 11:03:40 AM

These two  8" wrenches were both made in Germany,  the top one only has Germany  stamped on the handle on one side and STEEL CO. on the other side.  The bottom one has WEST GERMANY on the handle and no company name.  My guess is the one with West Germany was probably made after the War, the other made before the War.
The other little 6" with green paint is made by Ridge Tool Co. Elyria O. USA .  Has RIDGID  Heavy Duty on the other side.

The German/West German stuff is interesting.  I've got the world's smallest breast drill, made in Germany or W. Germany, can't recall (by someone anonymous).
