One of todays finds, just aboue the last thing I would expect from Stevens, known to me only for automotive specialty tools. But perhaps they took a crack at the home handyman...
The handle has a collet like a tap holder, but keyed, and comes with a bunch of different screwdrivers, BUT, it also has a hex drive adaptor that fits into the sockets. And , just in case the handle is too wimpy, they threw in a crossbar also, (I can't call it a T , it doesn't slide, pinned in at the end as made)...
The sockets and adaptor are unmarked, The sockets have a distinct screw machine look, like New britians..
Handle has nice distinct Stevens in a box logo, and one of the screwdriver bits is faintly marked...

rusty,
That is a nice looking set. And, unusual. I think you got a keeper there.

Very nice set !! Nice to see all the parts to a set.
I had to check but the tool mounting system seems to be the same as the Walden set I posted here:

It does, and the extra wide crimp on the tool handle ferrule is identical also, and odd. When you partly unscrew the collet, can you see the end of the tool through the side of it?

No, I have to fully unscrew it and remove the collet to see the collar with 4 slits in it (if I understand your question correctly).
