Title: My grandfathers wrench.
Post by: pipehack on August 21, 2012, 11:42:25 AM
My Grandfathers who was a Local 130 plumber. Turns out many years later I was fortunate enough to become a 130 plumber also. He passed in 71 and I was 2. Never really knew him. If you look close you can still see where he wrote "Hayes" on it. One of the few things that's still around from him.

It's a little one. Could pass for the 6 inch and under club. I do have a few cast iron tools from him that I've used on the job. Yes.... we still do caveman plumbing in Chicago. The way it should be.

More than just cool! To have a tool that he actually used is great!
