A yard sale that I went to this morning produced a couple of tools I did not have, a pair of Metric Micrometers. I did not even know there were such things, but then there a lot of things I don't know. The surprising thing is they are made in the USA.

Meyer? Not seen that nameplate before, but am automotive oriented not machine shop. They are actually dial indicators for testing run-out, out of round, etc. Darn handy tool to have, did you get the mounts, base, and clamps?

John, I said Micrometers by mistake, I knew they were dial indicators, just one of my old age brain fa rts. I have all kinds of holders and mounts, I just didn't have any thing in metrics. In fact here is a indicator mount for my milling machine that I made myself.
I was playing with a light box for photographing small items and took some photos of some tools.
