Title: Tool paper
Post by: jimwrench on September 04, 2012, 04:34:15 PM
Bought three hardware catalogs at auction yesterday. One is Clifford Peterson Tool Co of Chicago Has almost 700 pages of tools and supplies; second was F Meyer & Bro of Peoria IL; has 300+ pages of tools and hardware: third is a B F Goodrich binder with several catalogs in it; They include Brown & Sharpe;A nice 1956 Bonney catalog with price list;a Wilton clamping catalog;a Root Manufacturing brochure on mowers chain saws, tillers etc.; aProto 5626 catalog with1961 price list; a Millers Falls electric tools catalog;a Brideport catalog; and a Fuller Brush Catalog.
If any of this paper contains information you can use would be glad to share.

Question it raises: why didn't Root mowers make it ? They look like Buck Rogers was their designer. Evidently went out of business in early 70's.
With tongue in cheek he said woudn't have taken that Bonney and Proto catalog but they were part of folder.
