Title: Leather handle screwdriver
Post by: stormking on September 04, 2012, 11:00:43 PM
I've taken a liking to leather handled screwdrivers lately. Only found a few but like the style. I found the one below over the weekend and have a question. Was this made out of a knife or by a knife maker? The blade is thicker than a normal knife and does not taper until right at the end. There is a faint mark on the blade a keystone, done like on a disston saw blade. Anyone seen anything like it? Thanks

It does look like an old knife handle.
Maybe it was modified, IDK.

It's a mystery to me. The blade does not fit a knife look in my limited opinion.

Disston did make screwdrivers but have not seen any info on leather handled.
