Title: Chrome IHC 1326E wrench
Post by: Lostmind on September 05, 2012, 03:21:27 PM
I found this today. He must have realy liked this one to chrome it.
Can some one tell me why the wierd size markings. I think I read it here before ,but I guess it didn't sink in.
The wrench is 7" long, it 's marked 3/8 and 7/16.
Is that the size of the bolt the nut fits? obviously bigger than 3/8".

Yes, a 1/2 bolt fits in a 1/2 hole, the head of the bolt is bigger....

Old wrenches were marked for the size of the bolt (the hole), instead of the bolt's head size(how big the wrench needs to be)....

I wasn't aware, however, that IHC wrenches were included in that group, not really surprised tho...
