Title: Blue Point Boxocket DBE??
Post by: dimwittedmoose51 on September 20, 2012, 04:51:41 AM
Even the Snap On collectors site has nothing on this unusual wrench.  They show handles with interchangeable box ends, but no solid wrenches with that logo on them.  This thing is about 18" long,  round shaft/shank, both ends appear to be 1 1/2 12 points,  and one end is offset a good 2".  Model is S-9869.  Will get a photo up late tonight when I get back from the flea market sale here.  TIA

anything with a S prefix is a special tool not a regular boxocket wrench. it is a buick spring shackle wrench made 1932 and 1933. see my post on collecting snapon for the catalog pages it listed on.

seems my post is no longer there on collecting snapon............look at pages 42 and 44 in the 1933 catalog on frank's site.

I slipped it in another photo for the other thread, so I don't feel so guilty now.....
