Great post! I have a lot of old, used the wrong way, crescents that have that tell-tale burr on the lip of the moveable jaw, and loose adjuster!
Don't ya just love the animations on TV showing less than optimal use?
I have a Crestaloy adjustable with an arrow imprinted on it showing the proper useage.

Yep, it's right there on my Centennial Crescent.
I was putting together some Crescent / Crestoloy wrenches to sell on the bay and noticed the arrow on another 8" Crescent wrench.
Dont know if this is a Centennial like Bransons, but noticed the handle is stouter than any other Crescents I have used/handled.
Nice thick handle, once you have picked up that one, the thins ones feel, less substantial.

Looks just like the Centennial with that beefy handle. What's on the other side? Mine says: The Original Since 1907.
Yes, that is what mine hason it. Great ! A Centenial Cresent ! Looks like I will keep that one.
