Title: Craftsman Locking Extension
Post by: kxxr on October 07, 2012, 01:08:50 PM
This design must not have caught on. Of all the Craftsman pieces I have picked up over the years, this is the first and only one of these I have seen. I think it was introduced in the 90s. It doesn't hold too well if there is much wear in the female side of the socket you are attaching to. This one happens to have the EE mfr marking.

First I've seen also.  On the surface it looks like a good idea.  Here is a link to the patent if you want to see how it should work.
