I think this is some type of linkage arm removal tool. Any pickle fork I've ever used was big enough to stand up to a beating with a 5 lb hammer. This little guy looks way to delicate for that. The openings are 1/2" wide on one end and 1" wide on the other. The little tits back up the shank a ways don't look like they have been hit with any thing other than a rubber mallet. There are no logos or names of any kind on it. Any body out ever seen or used one like this?

Agree, though I've never seen the chain and hook that goes with one. The chain and hook from an H D Smith would work.

Here's the one I have. I made a hook out of bar stock, similar to the cast HD Smith hook.
I haven't had any luck selling it.
I'm glad you posted , I was thinking it was super rare. LOL
I'm thinking maybe it was a tractor tool?

I have seen one with a Mack logo on it.

I have a portion of the H D Smith version and it never dawned on me that this was a similar purpose tool. Along with Lostmind I actually thought this little fellow might be Quite rare. Thanks for the response guys. Jim
