Title: WTB Mossberg #210 wrench
Post by: tfleming on December 28, 2012, 07:37:51 AM
If anyone has a decent (does not have to be perfect) condition Mossberg #210 wrench they would like to sell, I am looking for one.  This is the last wrench I need to complete my Mossberg Tool set.  flemingt@consolidated.net  I am willing to make a very reasonable offer if you have one.  thanks, Tom

Yes a picture would help. I have some unidentified Mossberg stuff. At least I think it's Mossberg.

From The Wrenching News- http://home.comcast.net/~alloy-artifacts/frank-mossberg-company.html (http://home.comcast.net/~alloy-artifacts/frank-mossberg-company.html)
Quote
Fig. 64 at the left shows a Mossberg No. 210 1/4x5/16 open-end wrench of stamped steel construction, marked with the M-Diamond logo.

The overall length is 3.2 inches, and the finish is plain steel.

This wrench was acquired as part of a Mossberg No. 14 Socket Set shown in an earlier figure.

Thanks for the pic Pawpaw.  As shown, it is marked and shows the 210 and the diamond markings.

I have a couple Mossberg 210's but they are part of sets. I will have to dig thru by duplicates to see if I have an extra one.

Papaw, thanks for the plug but that came from Alloy Artifacts not The Wrenching News.

My mistake, Bus! Guess I was just thinking of you and your own Mossbergs.

Thanks Gibson.  to the others who are also looking, I really appreciate the effort.  This is to complete a Mossberg #14 set that I picked up at a flea market for $20.  It was missing only the ratchet, pliers, and 2 wrenches, otherwise in good condition and all there. I was able to score a ratchet fairly easily.  I know that the unobtainium one will be the pliers.  I have on rare occasion seen the #210 on ebay, and lost both auctions due to my "cheapness".  It won't happen a 3rd time if one shows up!

Once again guys, thanks so very much for your efforts!

If you're able, please share some pictures of the set you're working to complete.
