Title: Frustrating chalkline hooks
Post by: Whitman on January 08, 2013, 08:07:39 AM
In all my 35 years as a carpenter I've never found a chalkline hook that will stay put when you pull it at an angle past about 75 degrees, so, dadburnit, I had to invent my own. Is it new, or has anyone here ever seen an old one?

Whitman, that looks like a good idea, but did you join Tool Talk just to post that link? Or do you have interest in old tools, especially wrenches, like the members here?

How about finding the Introduction Forum and introducing yourself?

Yeah.  A couple of mine have the same kind of catch from the factory.
