Title: Kobalt ratchet question

I just picked up a Kobalt 3/8" ratchet. It's older and I believe USA made. They were made by JH Williams I hear.
Anyone have info on that period of Kobalt or Williams? 15 years ago maybe? When did they go overseas?

It's a nice ratchet anyway.

Williams produced the Kobalt stuff from 1998 to 2003, when Danaher took over. Recently (I'm not sure when), production moved overseas...

The Williams stuff was highly-regarded, but I have never personally seen it, so I cannot comment...
