Title: walden worcester 516 rat
Post by: jimwrench on January 12, 2013, 03:36:15 PM
Walden 516 ratchet. Patent 1420467 which allows different length handles to be assembled to same ratchet head evidently only at initial assembly because removing screws doesn't allow disassembly due to rivets. Picture in alloy has one rivet while mine has two.
Should this disassemble without removing rivets ?

I ran into a somewhat similar design a while back, not rivits, but pressed in (and probably staked) pins to hold the internal spring and toggle piece. was rather a pain to disassemble, and caused some minor damage getting the pin out....
