This automatically went to my spam folder that I check from time to time, I am wondering how this is possible or how could someone send me an e-mail from my e-mail. ..........

..........I hate changing passwords but it looks like someone is able to access my account?
1930, I am pretty sure if you dont see it in your Sent folder, that some is spoofing your email address. Just dont click on any links from spam emails.
Brian L.
Jason, I'm quite sure Brian is correct.
You would need to look at the "Full Header" for the email, but I'd bet heavily it did not come from your own account by some unauthorized entity...
Ditto...
Yahoo will always put things in the spam folder if the From address is you*, it is always spam...
The from address can be whatever the sender wants, you can send out your email from a from address of santa@northpole if you wanted to, but if you do that no one can reply to it....(which is what the spammer wanted, they want you to click the link, not send them nasty emails..)
(Yes, this is one of the dumber things about how email works;P)
*Unless it is returned undeliverable email of course
I had no idea and am still have no idea how someone can do the things Rusty said but thanks everyone, I never do click on the links anyway.
At least I do not have to change my password.
Just in case you were wondering, the link takes you to a porn site in Russia,,,
Just the kind of decent folks you want to give your credit card number too....NOT

I was not wondering, I have learned not to wonder cause if I start wondering I might click the button. Thanks though
