A little out of my price range, but cool.

That is neat! How did it survive this long, as its the longest cast wrench I've ever seen and not be broken or modified. Only thing longer is the price, ouch.

He started bidding at $9.00
Neat wrench.

$1000 Even, Nice Day for Him :O

Seems a little fishy too me, the price I mean.
Quite a while back there were some books on e-bay I wanted real bad, all the same seller and ending at the same time pretty much, I had my wife bid on one whilst I bid on the other, I wanted them real bad so I put in a ridiculous bid, waited for the last seven second and pushed the button, told my wife to do the same for the other book.
Turned out we were bidding against each other on the same book, I won for 1 dollar over her bid because my bid arrived first.
Seller was not happy when I explained what happened and I do not blame him, there was no way I was paying that much though and he let me off but I still paid plenty enough.

The BRADLEYS WONDER cut-out-letter wrenches that have sold through the auctions held in conjunction with the MVWC spring meetings in York, NE have brought considerably more than $1K so the end price on this sale was a "bargain" for the purchaser.
And the part number is D99, not 660.

I dunno. The third highest bidder was at $975.

Well I guess that means we are going to see another increase in gas prices then, surely if we can afford to may 1000 for a single wrench we can afford to pay another nickel at the pumps. Waay to go consumers!

That or print some more money, the press is still warm.

people with money know best and put $$ into hard assets when money printing is running 80/90. even this wrench counts as hard asset similar to antique cars (which is hot) and antiques. problem is there ain't enough rich people to buy all my hard assets. lol.
