Title: Stanley box and some other goodies
Post by: kxxr on March 02, 2013, 06:30:40 PM
I got some great stuff on the pawn shop circuit today. The Stanley box is in great shape and will come in handy for me. The Bada tire weight hammer is my favorite for today. Anyone recongnize these drill bits? I don't really have a good use for them, but I saved them from sure ruin as they were just piled in the junk box. They still have wax on the tips and are marked with the size and PTD USA.
Does this ParX combo fit anyone's needs? I know someone is looking for them. The ratcheting extension is a 67-B.
I'm hoping someone can tell me who made these bits and how they are supposed to be used. They look expensive.
Anyway, here's the pics. I got some other nice stuff yesterday I'll post up later. Good weekend of scrounging so far.

PTD - Precision Twist Drill Co, Crystal Lake,IL

Folks on the machinist forum seem to say good things about them

Nothing magical about what they do, they are just so you can drill holes bigger than the chuck on your drill...

Thanks Rusty. I can't think of any use I'd ever have for them but I could not stand to leave them there in that big box of useless junk to be ruined. I don't think my total bill at the shop would have been any more or less with or without them, so they were practically free.
